Then one night I was watching Golden Girls with @hellochelseafite and it immediately became so obvious that it had to be about Betty White. I got excited when I realized that her 100th birthday was coming up and that had to be the day to release. While she might not have made it to the official day, she lived through 17 leap years and as far as I’m concerned, those 17 days count. Eat some cheesecake today. Tell someone how golden they are. So I dropped a new jam today if you’re in to that sort of thing 💁🏻‍♀️ As I’m sure you can guess, the link is in the bio. It’s been a minute (technically ~1.9 million minutes) but it looks as though the musical hiatus has come to a close. Maybe one of these days I’ll unpack the 3.5 year journey of where I’ve been, but for now: I’m super duper stoked to be making music again. Far more important than me though, are a few super awesome peeps that helped make this happen: @christianryanstahl — Ironically, I don’t think my 13 year old nephew even has a clue that he is one of the biggest reasons I’m back making music. It’s crazy how hard kid logic can checkmate you sometimes. This whole ball started rolling because of a conversation with him last year that probably didn’t even last 60 seconds. Love you kid. @tomdupreeiii — I wish everybody had 5 friends like Tom. You’re the realest, dude. Super grateful for you. Thanks for always keeping my eyes on the prize and constantly helping me not get side tracked by things that don’t matter. @alecparrish — Thank you for bringing that boom boom heat. There wouldn’t have been drums without you. Literally. You’re great at what you do and it’s a blast to work with you. Excited to make so many more. @jason_gann — Thanks for remotely coaching me on how to suck a little less at bass. And basically being a virtual assistant producer. And just going on the ride for however many iterations there ended up being on this thing. You give the most entertaining critiques, so please never stop. With all that said: Back to work on the next one ✌🏼

He knew I was developing a new entertainment company and I couldn’t think of anyone I’d rather work with to develop one of our first projects.
